Rough start for Kawakami so far. 4-0 Dodgers in the top of the 3rd.

Braves fighting back 4-2 after putting a couple hits together and taking advantage of an error in the top of the 3rd. Kawakami has his quickest inning, with 2 Ks and a grounder back to him by Loney. 4-2 going into the 4th.

In the National League, the NL East I would say is the best.

In all of Major League Baseball, I'd give that to the AL East. You have Tampa Bay, who is a monster. The Yankees are tough. The Blue Jays and the Red Sox have basically the same record as the Braves.

Only AL East that sucks is the Orioles, who are a joke.

NL East and AL East, IMO, are the best divisions from their respective leagues.

Re: The Official Lets Go Redlegs/Bravos Season Thread

    Dodgers 5 Braves 4

    W: H. Kuo (1-1)
    L: K. Kawakami (0-8)
    SV: J. Broxton (14)

1st A Ethier hit sacrifice fly to right, R Furcal scored. 0 1
1st R Belliard hit a ground rule double to deep center, M Kemp scored, J Loney to third. 0 2
2nd R Furcal tripled to deep right center, C Kershaw scored. 0 3
2nd M Kemp hit sacrifice fly to center, R Furcal scored. 0 4
3rd Y Escobar singled to right, M Prado scored, O Infante to third. 1 4
3rd M Cabrera safe at first on error by third baseman J Carroll, O Infante scored, Y Escobar to second. 2 4
7th Y Escobar doubled to deep left center, O Infante and T Glaus scored. 4 4
7th J Loney singled to center, A Ethier scored, M Ramirez to second. 4 5

Bright note: After hitting below Mendoza, Yunel Escobar appears to be turning the corner. That will really help round out the lineup.

Dim note: Heyward has a rookie moment. 0-5 5 Ks. He did reach base on one of them though. Also, I hate Melky Cabrera. Picked off 2nd by the catcher last night.
