7Teen, it's a three horse race for ROY. Jamie Garcia, Mike Leake, and Jason Heyward. If I'm voting today i'm voting Garcia.

I would be fine with the Sunday lineup if it were Heisey in LF opposed to Nix.

Considering how Arroyo pitched in his last start with Hernandez catching, I'm fine with Miller starting back there. I'd prefer Cairo not even be on this club, but I can't ignore the nice job he did while replacing Votto recently.

I'm with you on Heisey, not sure what he has to do to get more time. 1-1 after an inning. Speaking of Nix, base hit.

Re: The Official Lets Go Redlegs/Bravos Season Thread

First pitch for the Braves/Dodgers finale in about 5 minutes.

    Prado 4
    Infante 5
    Heyward 9
    McCann 2
    Glaus 3
    Hinske 7
    Escobar 6
    Cabrera 8
    Hudson 1

Hudson should make the All-Star team with his performance so far this season. Hopefully I didn't just jinx him as the Braves look to take 3 out of 4 to start their road trip today.

I'm so, so sick of Cordero. Make Rhodes the closer, of course then you may never have save opportunities.

Re: The Official Lets Go Redlegs/Bravos Season Thread

    Cincinnati 5 Washington 4
    Reds Win Series 2-1

    Pitchers of Record
W: Fransico "I Can Not Close" Cordero (2-3, 3.86 era)
    L: Doug Slaten (2-1, 1.93 era)

    Scoring Summary

    Top 1st: Cincinnati
    - J. Votto singled to shallow right center, O. Cabrera scored
    Bot 1st: Washington
    - R. Zimmerman singled to shallow right, C. Guzman scored
    Bot 4th: Washington
    - I. Desmond doubled to deep left, R. Bernadina scored
    Top 9th: Cincinnati
    - J. Gomes doubled to left, D. Stubbs scored
    - S. Rolen homered to deep left, J. Gomes scored
    Bot 9th: Washington
    - M. Morse doubled to right center, J. Willingham and I. Desmond scored
    Top 10th: Cincinnati
    - D. Stubbs singled to shallow right, J. Bruce scored, L. Nix to third, D. Stubbs to second advancing on throw

Reds bullpen has to get better, the last two innings of this game were embarrassing. Cordero and Masset are supposed to be major leaguers, they need to start pitching as such.

Reds move to within a half game of St. Louis, back home for four against a pretty darn good pitching ball club in the Giants.

    3rd J Heyward singled to right, O Infante scored. 1 0
4th B DeWitt singled to center, J Loney scored, M Kemp to third, G Anderson to second. 1 1
    5th M Prado homered to left. 2 1
    5th B McCann homered to right, J Heyward scored. 4 1
    5th R Furcal homered to right. 4 2
    5th J Loney singled to center, J Carroll and A Ethier scored. 4 4
    11th A Ellis singled to left, R Martin scored. 4 5

Highlights: Heyward gets his 39th RBI of the year. Prado just keeps hitting and Hudson stays solid going 7+ innings.

Lowspot: As with all season. Errors. 2 more today, 1 costing the Braves a run later in the inning.
