why did we get rid of jim edmonds? look at what he is doing now.........

The Cardinals new general manager will run that team into the ground unless ownership wants to spend over 100 million. He's going to end up with all of his money tied up in four players, Carpenter, Wainwright, Pujols, and Holiday. Just from personal experience, that doesn't work. The Reds tried that with Griffey, Dunn, Boone, and Casey. One injury and it gets ugly.
