Oh, man. They're saying on WAXM that Lee plays Harlan County next.

Talk about a tough way to start the season...

Harlan Co. will win by however many they want to win by, especially if Graham can't go next week. If he's not 100% I'm not sure I'd even play him and risk him getting hurt worse.

ran the ball about 60 times tonight, kid earned my respect. Tough, Tough kid. Cramps kept him out of last 2 point conversion. He could barely walk off field. If Lee had any depth they would be tough to beat.

He was hurt (seemed to be his ankle) on the last touchdown run and didn't play any on defense on the last drive. I am not sure the extent of the injury, but if he's out for significant time then Lee could be in trouble.

I really think if it was cramps he would have kept playing. I could be wrong though. He definitely left it all on the field tonight though, I'll be interested to see his stats from the game. I'd assume he had over 200 yards rushing.

It's surprising to me that they have 700+ students but under 30 players on their roster. I think the last time I counted, they had 25 or 26. It's sad thinking just how many more players they could have to help them with both the kicking game and just overall depth. It seems like in the past, they used to field some good-sized teams, or at least teams with many more players than what they have now. What's up with that? Just the politics, the program's lack of success in recent years, or something along those lines? Did they not used to have many more players in the past?

That's one of the programs I would love to see get back on track, but they just can't catch a break this year. First they give away a potentially gigantic win over Union with under a minute to go, then tonight they lead Burton but let it barely slip away in the second half. If they can improve and play more consistently, I see them winning the Clinch Mountain District. Gate City did not impress me at all tonight. Do not be shocked if Lee defeats them this year!
I totally agree. I believe if Lee can get that one win in a close game, they'll open the flood gates.

He had nothing left in the tank. I would love to know the stats, I swear he had to have had no less than 40 carries for 250 I would imagine. It almost feels like he had 50 for 300 but that's probably just exxageration on my part.
