I recently bought a dvd burner for my desktop from www.compgeeks.com the prices are really cheap.

You can get blank DVD -R from meritlineline.com for around 42cents a piece. There is plenty of free software on the net that you can use. I use DVD shrink, it compresses your movie down so it can fit onto a blank disc. Ive probably got around 1000 movies and 50 or so xbox games. very very easy.

In order to burn the xbox games, you have to have a modded box. but you save a heck of a lot of money. For about $60 bucks and whatever size hard drive you want you can have one sweet modded xbox.

I heard you could buy a chip and have it installed on the PS2 as well and burn games...does the blank DVD's work for the games as well or do they make special CD's for them

I dont fool with the Ps2 that much, but I would assume it would work the same. I would say only a small percentage of games are larger than 4.7gb which is what a blank disc is

Do ya know where you could purchase one of the burner things at? I'm guessing maybe off the internet?

newegg is a good place, you could get a good burner off there for around 70 or so

i know someone who has a pretty good one and they paid i think around 200 for it.
