Not saying it would not of happened. Because Saddam had to be dealt with.
But was Iraq, a way to aim at something and yet not, what we needed to.
No WMD found yet, intelligence was a total mess up.
Was this ever for real?
Or did Bush use it to get the nations focus off 9/11 and use it politically?
Most know and knew a President has never been removed during a time of war.
I didn't care for Bush or Kerry.
But now with the intelligence, was Iraq a real deal or a Bush ploy, to draw attention from 9/11 and make sure, he would be re-elected?
And why are we still there? Will Iraq ever be able to care for itself?
We need help economically in this country, yet figures show everything is thriving?
How? And again was Iraq a Bush ploy, or did was it just used to get the attention away from what happened on 9/11.
Not meaning to start a political argument. Just wondering about a few opinions.
We are in a war in Afghanistan and Iraq?
When will we be out of either country?

i beleive he did all this stuff just to get the spotlight off him......i'm like u.....i really didn't care for either candidate....but i really think this war was uncalled for.....Iraq is never gonna be able to function by themselves....they're gonna need somebody to hold their hand....and myself i'm tired of us doin that.....we should have been out of Iraq a long time ago.....that's my opinion

The war is Iraq was and is not necessary. There were no physical evidence of WMD. It was a personal agenda from Bush that made him attack Iraq. Im not saying Kerry would have done any better, but the war was started because his daddy didnt finish the job.

i totally agree with Burton on this one......his dad couldn't get so he figured why not.......we should have went over to iraq to get asomah* sp* but after like 6 month....we should have gave it up

Seems like we entered Iraq but forgot what our mission was. Now we as usual are rebuilding a country that helped attack our's.
Just don't understand our government sometimes. Yes it's good and i stand behind it. But look at things here at home, and here we are rebuilding another country and have young men and women dying, for a country that at one time, could care less about us, and i wonder if they still don't, other than what we can do for them.
War is suspose to stir the economy as in W.W. 2. All the government surveys say were doing good. But as usual, some may be back to work. But also when your benefits run out you cannot reapply.
I was all for removing Saddam and getting Bin Laden.
But not so far at the price of almost 1,600 American lives, and rebuilding a country, that seems to not be able to ever take care of itself.
My beliefs. Bush wanted the nation turned away from 9/11. Jumped on any intelligence to give him the go ahead. Plus he had as was said Daddy's revenge to complete.
Not sure what the future holds. But i cannot believe we are still hunting for Bin and rebuilding Iraq, when here at home, we have things to do, yet we never get no actions taken.
I think we need to always be strong. But there comes a time to take care of the home land to, seems like Bush has forgotten that. Now the focus is social security reform, yet no plans from our government? Has to make one wonder.
