GAS!!!!

I agree it's way outrageous but to get to work most have to drive and to drive you have to use Gas and the people making the money from the Gas knows this and if they wanted to they could charge 10 bucks a gallon and what could we do? Nothing because if you quit your job how are you gonna live to pay the bills? Unless you ride a bike or get a horse,mule,etc.

i was thinking about buying a scooter, them suckers get about 80 miles a gallon, it'd be a easy ride halfway, down sandy ridge, but would be awful coming up wise mountain, and then on the way back easy on the way down, hard on the ride up sandy ridge.... Good thing is it can save you some money for awhile but winter is coming up.

Just went up this afternoon anywhere from 10 cent to 12 cents on the gallon. If your local station hasn't better fill up while it's still a little cheaper. It may go well over the 3 dollar on the gallon mark thanks to the hurricane.
Even heard ole Bush was talking about hitting the reserve supply.
But i don't know. Heck what is country gonna do now, natural disaster and all our troops in Iraq. Esp. our national guard. This is times those guys from all states were used to help out.

it's not hard times... i mean yeah, we are at war, gas prices going up. But it's nothing we can't handle, and work through. In time this too shall pass.

I sure hope so man, there have definately been much harder times in history, but I think this is definately the toughest time my generation has faced.

I drive anywhere from 400 to 600 miles every week just for work, and spending more for gas than I used to make. I bought gas in Norton this morning for $1.48, went to Honaker and saw it for $1.37, got back to Norton and BSG and it was $1.59. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
