Oh no, there were definitely certain parts. It just lacked in a decent story, at all.

What was wrong with the story? Simple... a man and woman are having an affair, she's in plans to file for divorce.. her soon to be Ex was CIA (right?).. he was writing a memoir/novel... his wife drops the disk at a gym, the gym trainer finds it, and thinks it's top secret, so he wants money for it... then Clooney's character thinks that Pitts character is breaking in, freaks out...
it's a pretty good/funny story.. that's what made the film work

Yeah and all that happened half way through the movie, then it was just wise-cracks the rest of the way.

No, then everything intertwines, along with the dark humor cast throughout. Plus, the Coen brothers bring together (once again) great characters. Very well written, and acted. Except for Tilda Swinton's character who was more of a plot device. It's the unfolding of something absolutely absurd. Coen's are best at that and that's what makes it work.

Not saying the acting was bad or that there weren't funny parts, just couldn't get into the story. Just my take on it.

Though I'm sure you probably wont watch it again, it IS better the second time when you're not as confused about the plot as you're watching it. At least that was the case for me.

    Religulous - 9/10

Definitely a controversial movie. But provides points that I'm sure people will shut out with no more of an answer than, "well, he's wrong".
A quote: "Fact is: Religion must die for mankind to live. The hour is getting very late to be able to indulge, and having key decisions made by religious people, by irrationalists."

Let the Right One In - 8/10
Very good story that was shot amazingly. I reccommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a foreign language film with subtitles. 100% worth the watch.
