We received an e-mail at work letting us know that one of my co-workers in West Virginia had to be taken to the hospital yesterday. Her 5 year-old son Dallas had been dropped off by a school bus. He dropped his sucker and bent down to pick it up, and apparently the bus driver didn't see him, and struck him, rolling a tire onto him. We spent the day praying for the Mitchell family, and a little while ago we got the news that Dallas had passed away. Mitzi has been moved to the Logan hospital where she has been sedated.
Guys: Mitzi Mitchell is a single working mother of 3 who is struggling to make ends meet, much less afford to bury her little boy. Please pray for her and her family. Our store is setting up a donation/trust fund to send to WVA (as are all of the stores in the chain). If anybody is interested in opening your hearts to help, please PM me, and I'll get you the info that is needed for you to send this aid. I know that times are hard friends, but if it was YOU going through the he## that this family is enduring, and in the same financial shape this lady is in, would you not be thankful that a stranger saw a need and gave you a gift of love? Thank you amigos.
Almost forgot: Please keep the driver of that bus in your prayers as well. We can only imagine what this has done to them.
