Wow, what a great start to this year's series..
can't wait for tomorrow nights episode, hated to see Palmer go, one of my favorite characters on the show..
question: how much better could the show have been on cable, ie the shield

Hated to see Palmer go too, liked him since Major League. lol... I agree about cable, i don't know whats going on in Coeburn, but were getting alot of skipping on FOX here lately. Looks like we found the new Kim. Its a long haired blond boy. Always getting Jack into trouble.

what i was referring to though was if the show was able to get aired on a station like FX, such as the shield

I have never nor do I plan to ever watch this show. I just don't see me getting into a show that doesn't follow it's premise. To my understanding the show is supposed to be one day and every eppisode is one hour out of that day which makes for 24 eppisodes a season. But the guy can in one eppisode go all the way across LA in 15 minutes or as in one eppisode he made it all the way to Iowa or Idaho to stop a nuclear explosion and that was in less than an hour. He also got shot and recovered and completely healed in like 3-4 hours. My cousin and I were discussing this yesterday becasuse they kept showing those commercials all day long.

I can see your point. I like the show due to its about the fastest hour i can watch on tv. Nonstop, edge of your seat adrenaline

I don't remember him actually being fully healed, but he actually went from LA to a Nevada desert last year is what you may be referring to. He didn't go to Iowa where the warhead was supposed to be.

They actually do a pretty good job of keeping things in decent order. Yes getting from one part of LA to another in 15 minutes would be pretty hard unless it is across the street, but other than that they do a good job I think.

I couldn't believe the start of the show this season. I thought that the presidents right hand man was crooked last season. This season it has already been confirmed.
