Re: Sushi
[ QUOTE ]
Thanks guys.
I didn't get my sushi fix last night unfortunately. I saw a place called Sushi Blues on North Roan in JC last night that I may end up trying.
I love salmon too.

Sushi Blues isn't bad. When I need a fix, I'll try anything. I bought some boxed sushi at a Harris Teeter in Raleigh earlier this year. While it wasn't perfect, it was pretty [censored] good.

Re: Sushi
Actually, you are supposed to use ginger to do away with prior tastes so they don't all mix together. I don't particularly like ginger and don't use it at all. Love the mix that you described. I'm thinking that there are some ways that you could make your own. A little research, some bravery, and good fish would do the trick. My parents swear that Riverfront in Kingsport is the best seafood. We have gotten oysters from them. Worth a check.

Re: Sushi
The Food City in GC has it as well, and it is not too bad either. I still want to try some of the real deal.
My first experience was at E&H when they had some chefs come in to cook different things for our cafeteria one time. He was fixing Cali rolls, and I wasn't too hip to wasabi at the time. A buddy told me to just put some on there and eat it.
