Who is better Gateway or Dell?

Dell....of those two.
I think in a lot of ways some of the smaller companies have gained on them due to the outsourcing of support

I've always considered those 2 about equal. I know a lot of ppl have problems with HP but I've been lucky with mine and not had that many. Well, except for the human errors. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Now that Dell has partnered with Alienware, Dell easily. (Although Alienware IS expensive as hell, and that's an understatement.)

Despite this debate over which is better, though, I just figured that I'd might as well add that building your own PC (and purchasing everything separate) is much cheaper and more rewarding than purchasing an over-priced PC from a big-name company.

A Mac is 10 times better than a PC.

They are decent overall and with lower requirements (from what I've heard) than a Windows-based operating system, but for the expensive prices and endless incompatability, I as a PC gamer would never even so much as look at a Macintosh computer.

They're good media PC's and are the choice for many game DEVELOPERS, but you're S.O.L. if you're a software freak such as myself.
