Heat

Be careful when out working or just working in the yard etc.
Try to schedule outside work in the early mornings or late evenings.

Take in plenty of fluids. And don't become dehyrated. If you quit sweating, quit what your doing.

Check on the elderly and sick often. Fans and AC if possible

Make sure your pets are attended to and have water.

And never leave a person or pet in a vehicle for any length of time.

This may continue till Friday so watch out for yourself, others and the animals or pets you may have.

Thanks for the heads up LPD.. it's been really really hot lately.

I was out passing football a little bit today and jeez it just about took the breath out of me.. I was sweating like crazy after only like a minute or two of being out there!

The thing that worries me is that I have two ferrets, and heat is really bad for them so I have to keep them inside and make sure they're doing OK.
