[censored] mang, has Korn performed yet?
The new Quinten Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez film looks great. Spike TV is doing a horror movie awards show right now. They showed clips from the movie and it looks great. I'm really excited to see this. Below is an interview with Rodriguez about the film. It's going to have lots of stars in it as well. Should be good.
Rodriguez Interview
"There he goes, one of Gods own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die"
[censored] mang, has Korn performed yet?
"i asked a toothless man, who all these people were and, he said the soapmakers...and we are workin workin"
they are showing it over right now, so watch it, they do the last performance of the night. It wasn't all that great, kinda boring.
and and.. Punisher 2 got mentioned wahoo!!
Grindhouse looked to me like a hyped up B movie, with some terrible acting, mostly another bad attempt at making the gorriest movie he can. How retarded did Rose Mcgowan look blowing the smoke from a gun barrel prosthetic leg.
Quentin's movies have gotten progressivley worse with poor writing and trying to make them with more gore the effects have gotten so exagerated as to look stupid with someone getting a finger cut off and squirting blood like a firehose. This is just gore for the sake of gore and not very entertaining.
I actually can't believe I watched that stupid awards show. That was an absolute perfect example of what direction Hellywood is heading in, especially with the glorious reception that that piece of trash marilyn manson got.
If you want to see a scary movie just watch some of the first Nightmare on Elm Streets, Friday the 13th's and the original Poltergeist and Amityvile Horror.

It's supposed to look like a "hyped up B movie". It's an homage to the seventies "Grindhouse" type of movies. Tarantino's movies have been excellent. He's not had one movie that wasn't an A+++. You can't count things like Hostel, because those aren't his movies. The Nightmare Movies and The Friday The 13th movies are cheesey as hell. Amityville is a snore. Poltergeist is the only film you mentioned, worth mentioning.

I have to agree on Tarantino. His movies are at least always visually interesting.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
I don't even consider this to be a Tarantino film.

It's a combo effort of him and Rodriguez, both of whom I love. It's supposed to be like 4-6 20-30 minute shorts.

4-6 different shorts, that would just get aggrivating to watch.
I agree with Tarantino's earlier work but the last few have gotten just weird especially Hostel may not be his movie but he is tied to it, in the tribute to him last night it was shown as his.

He was not the director that was Ell Roth. He was assistant producer or something. I think his main involvment was financing since he and Roth are friends and he's trying to get him broke through. He did the same thing with Hero, the martial arts flick. He didn't make the movie, his name was tied to it for the same reason.
As for the last few that Tarantino has done, that'd be the two Kill Bill films and Jackie Brown I think. I'd say that Kill Bill 2 and Jackie Brown are two of the best things he's ever done.
As for 4-6 different shorts being annoying, that'd be great. The Creepshow series were like that as well as the Twilight Zone movie, and those were wonderful.
