Prayer vigils planned in Tri-Cities Region

Tri-Cities Region residents will gather today for vigils after the Virginia Tech massacre.

East Tennessee State University students will gather tonight at 10 p.m. at the Belltower on the ETSU campus. Students were encouraged to wear maroon and orange in support of Virginia Tech students.

Residents will gather in Marion, Virginia, tonight for a candlelight vigil at 6 p.m. in front of Marion Town Hall. The event was planned by WXZA (103.5 FM) and Marion Downtown.

Highlands Fellowship will have a community-wide prayer service on Wednesday evening at 7PM at our three campuses.
