One person transported to hospital by helocopter. All students are reported safe and will be released by bus at the Carolina Pottery outlet. They are asking that parents report there to pick up their children.
A security guard was shot apprantly.

SCHS Students And Faculty Safe

A man with gun came into Sullivan Central High School at 8:30 or 9:00 this morning.
School resource officer Carolyn Gudger stopped the armed man at the door. She says he was outraged and she led him away from students until more officers could arrive.
Authorities say the man stayed and would not drop his gun . They say he pointed it toward the officers and at some point officers were forced to shoot him.
He was flown to the hospital with injuries.
Sullivan Central remains on lockdown.
School is dismissing right now. Students are being bussed out. Parents that drive their kids to school need to pick them up at Carolina Pottery. Students that drive are being escorted to their cars.
Authorities are calling a press conference at 3:00 p.m. to give more information about the incident
