He was moved to regular icu and placed in a induced coma. They woke him for a short period and checked to see if he would respond to touch and he seemed to, nuro wants to reverse effects of blood thinner before proceeding. Heard this at church this morning. Keep prayers coming !
He is definitely a great individual. I know I'll be saying an extra prayer for him.
From about 10:00 am this morning, from Sherry Giles:
"Update on Eddy Giles--no change from yesterday. Still in the medically induced coma. Today is the day they expect his brain may start to swell. They will keep a close eye on that. The nurse said the 3rd day is always the crucial day. He is still stable, but critical. Thank you all for the prayers and just continue to pray. We all know the power of prayer."

no swelling on the brain, that is a good thing, otherwise no change as of 3:30 pm.
I had Retiredteach in the seventh grade. When I started teaching and coaching he always offered words of support. Hang in there we are praying for you!
I was lucky to have retiredteach his last year teaching. I'm praying for you
His son told me this afternoon, no change and are inserting a feeding tube this pm. Keep prayers coming !
