    Netflix jacking up their prices...

I just finally got it, the 10 bucks for all of the streaming a one dvd out was a really good deal, now it's going to be 16 bucks for the same exact thing.

That just irritates me. I mean its a good service but for $16 I hope they add more movies. It does help a lot with a 4 year old who loves Thomas the Train though!

I'll probably quit the DVD by mail and just do the streaming. I'll give redbox a dollar if I want to watch a movie. They are getting a lot more tv shows and movies to stream so 8 bucks a month for that isn't too bad, but 16 for them both just isn't worth it IMO.

I got the notice as well.

I will not be renewing my netflix subscription. No more streaming or blue rays. They used to be super fast one day to recieve movies and same day send out they receive and send. Now it takes like 2-3 days for them to get it then 2-3 days to send out to me. Meaning I can only watch 4 movies in a month when I used to be able to watch almost 3x that. So over the slow sending when I can go to redbox or other means.

I never really used the streaming service cause most the movies are not 1080. Think I watched only 2 movies on it. With TV's DVR services and online means really not much need for netflix anymore.

I do for one. there is still magic in going out and buying a new cd from one of your favorite bands, having the booklet to open and read.

If I'm buying the cd from a concert, sure. But I won't go out and buy one from the store.
At a concert, the money supports the band directly. Buying from a store goes to the store itself, or record label.
I like the vinyl records that some bands do in special editions.

I dont really buy music to support a band. I buy it to listen to it.

I was wondering how long it would take for Neflix to raise prices, too. Netflix has some decent stuff available, but not really a lot I want on demand.
Looking for my Darcy, but finding only Wickham. Right now, I'd settle for Bingley.
