There's a place in BSG that sells used ones I think. It's across from KFC.
We are looking for a washing machine to put in a rental house. I would like to find a used one if anyone knows of anywhere around that sells used appliances.

There is a guy up in Castlewood, but I forgot where he lives. My brother in law has gotten a few things like that off of him. If I get that info, I will let ya know.

Barkers Garage in Appalachia had two sets (washer and dryer) about 2-3 months ago. I think they were $2-300 for each pair. They looked nice.

Thanks, my wife is looking at a couple today in Lexington at a place her mom knows over there. If not there we have found one here we are gonna get.

Check out Craigslist as well I think Lexington is on there now, as is Blacksburg and Roanoke. There are usually washer and dryers under the household items for sale link. A lot of times people who don't necessarily live in those towns will still post so you may find something closer to home. I've seen things from as close as Marion for sale on the Roanoke page.

what gets really interesting is to get on craigslist and read the rants and raves... over the summer I read the DC one pretty regularly- its amazing how many people in NOVA waste their time posting on there.
There are some interesting personal ads on there too... Just for a warning if you go check them out- dont click on any that have pictures! You'll put an eye out [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
I hadn't even thought of craigslists in a long time. I used to get on there and just look at things and get agood laugh.
