Thanks elp. I have been looking around the net today trying to get some idea. I think it's really pretty...and looks great with stone (called for in the house plans that we have).
Also...if anyone has any experience...
How is stucco comparable around here to other exterior surfaces...brink, siding, etc?
Has anyone ever heard of the concrete siding planks for home use?

I will give this advice based on my insurance and property management background.
1) Get a metal roof. Insurance companies love this, and so will you. You get lower rates and easier maintenance.
2) Go with brick. See above reasons. All the same.
