I didn't know much about the current options. My insurance company started paying for cessation products, so I decided to ask my doctor about my options last week. Gave me a scrip for this stuff, I finally bit the bullet Monday and filled it.

The bottom line is that until you want to quit, you won't quit. You can't give it a half-hearted effort. When I quit in 02, I just decided to stop. Bought a box of patches, used them for 4 days and quit.

This time, however, isn't going to be so easy. I've had the notion to quit for a while, just a matter of following through on it. I've been smoking more and more over the last couple of months, so now is the time to do it. Never mind that I'm tired of waking up and looking for the cat that shat in my mouth.
