Preservation

Guys and gals, I got in from work today and updated my PV stuff from last week. I keep a running tally on my pc of the games we've played and stats that I can get. I got on the LPD Report and realized that something imo, needs to be done to preserve the information on there. It's really plentiful, and despite no updates in almost nine years now every time I get on there I remember reading it when I was a kid and just how in depth and how much work went in to it. I just wish there was someway it could live again, it's an impossible task for one person to undertake but really today with the reduced LPD if 2-3 individuals contributed from each school could it live? The site wouldn't even have to be elaborate just something that showed the information and tradition of our district. Of the current members we have accumulated 20 state championships in football alone and every team in the LPD has played for the title at some point, I'm not sure there is another district in the state that can lay claim to that. Maybe it's just a pipe dream I have, or some weird hobby I have of high school football but I really wish it was possible.

It is something I know Rocketerr has talked about before and I think it could be done so long as we have the server space and someone with enough free time to commit to making regular updates

The thing is you wouldn't have to put it all on one person. The only school I think you'd have a hard time getting any info from is Pound imo. You could probably get one or two people to help from every other school.
