you know, people still try to plug up their dvd players using the composit cables then try to watch it on Ch 3 or 4. when you try to tell them how to find the video channel you would have thought you told them to work the formula on how to get a man on Mars or something

Up here, it's a couple of the 02 patients that we have that are driving me insane. We have one that we constantly tell we don't get our truck in till Tuesday, yet without fail, calls in every midday Monday, saying she needs tanks that evening because she's going places the next day. Last Friday she sent her daughter down there after I told her plainly on the phone that we were low on the size of the tanks she usually gets. I told her dead over the phone we could give her plenty of the next size down. Well, her daughter pitched a fit in the office because we didn't have the size she always gets. I just flat out told her that she was welcome to have all the lower size tanks she needs, but would have to wait till Tuesday for the regular ones. She copped an attitude when I gave her the receipt. It's people like her that make me want to smack her upside the head with a quad cane!

Here at Berea, we have student labor as a requirement. Freshman year and last year I worked at the little Cafe above the campus post office.

You wouldn't believe how many people would say "what's good?" And I'm thinking in my head "do I look like I know what you like to eat?"

Sunday through Thursday it closed at midnight. Friday and Saturday at 1AM. On the school nights the customers (which 90% of them are Berea students) would all try to file in line at 11:50, ten minutes before close. And they would throw fits when we had to close down. You don't go into a restaurant or cafe 10 minutes before close and expect five star service. A lot of people didn't respect the fact that we were students too and we had homework to get to and papers to write and exams to study for.

Thank god I am a TA instead of there where I actually get the proper experience.

Nothing drove me crazier than customers who showed no respect.
