Anybody got any info that could help me out? I don't make much right now but plan on putting 10% of my pay into one starting in the new year. Anybody have one or any advice on what to invest in?

Our office does individual retirement. Call 679-3511 and ask for Wes Robbins -he's our certified financial planner (or email at [email protected]). Now is a very good time to get rolling on that.

Does your employer have a 401K? If so that would be the way to go. If not the safest thing you could do right now would be a fixed qualified annuity. Most financial planners would try to get you into some kind of variable product but those are risky to say the least right now.
A few months ago I rolled out of a plan that was losing big time. Rolled it into a fixed annuity with a good stable insurance company. If you want I can hook you up with an agent with that company. If interested just PM me and I will give you his name and phone number.

It's going to be a great time to invest when this recession ends, when we hit bottom...all the economy will do is go UP, UP, UP. It's knowing when exactly this thing has bottomed out, will be the tricky part. Though I have a feeling we will all have a certain idea when that happens.
