It's easy to have friends when you're seeing them every day at school. When you get older and you all have various obligations, it is hard to maintain a friendship. Kids, work, etc. all take up a lot of time.

I stay in contact with my core group from high school. We don't see each other nearly as often, but we try to get together two or three times a year. Sometimes it's hard to even do that as we work different schedules and do different things. I have a hard time doing anything other than working and fishing.
