When we talk on the forum and praise the teams and say it was a good game, etc etc, do we actually mean that or are we just supporting our kids? The reason I ask is, I have been to several high school basketball games this season and while I was impressd with a few teams, Its hard for me to enjoy the games or even be happy with a win because it just looks so trashy. Im a burton guy and even with them sitting in 3rd place, I think they suck.
It depends, I try to not trash any of them. I'll be positively critical, most of the time, especially since most know who I am on here.

What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
Exactly. The thing is that a lot of people can't take any criticism.
I had it out several years ago on my forum with some kids who thought I was being too hard on a few players. They (friends of the players) just couldn't take any criticism.
Anymore, if I have something to say, I'll just say it to the player.

That's true but for once I can actually say that I think most of Clintwoods kid can take a bit of criticism, shoot most of them are bad to be overly critical, something I wish they weren't quite so quick to do. There are a few...but there are more parents who can't stand it than kids.
