Only 1 of my six was painful, and that was my Indian chief on my left calf. I don't know whether it was the many colors, or the muscular calf I have, but it felt llike it was done with a blowtorch.
yeah mine on my spine.. right below my neck didn't hurt. Kinda burned for a few minutes, then it was fine.. the one on the back of my right leg hurt.. i mean hurt.. on that muscle.. man alive

i'll second the blow torch, it a machete (sp?) cuttin my leg open, burning, and pouring in some ink.. wow.. mine was only 3 colors, red, black, blue... but man.. wow it hurt
the only tattoo that really hurt of mine was the one on the inside of my upper arm..
