    Re: McCain

Neither is much. But as for paying for the war, sure it could be done without raising taxes, but no one has the cajones to do it. Simple restiction of spending in Washington and cutting out the amount of aid we send to other countries. The last would probably pay for it without even cuttin Washington spending although it needs to be done in the worst sort of way.

    Re: McCain

So we should cut the aid to other countries to help pay for the death of our soliders and others in another?

    Re: McCain

Why is it our responsibilty to keep other countries going?

Where is all the aid for us from other countries. We have homeless and such just like the ones we send aid to.

And why is it always our responsibility to be the "policemen" of the world?

One reason is so that you can get on here and ask asinine questions without the fear of some gestapo-type barging in and dragging you away.

    Re: McCain

Hitlers been dead for over 60 years its time to give that a break. There are some cases where we should be in the situation but most times thats not the case. Its time to keep the trigger-happy presidents out of the white house, war should be used but only as a last resort and absolutely necessary. Which there hasnt been a case like that in a lonnnnnnng damn time.

You're obviously ignorant of history and current world events. Your blather doesn't warrant a comment really.

Sorry but the gestapo comment doesn't ring as true in Iraq or Vietnam or Korea.

I'm no etymologist, but I suspect that one definition of gestapo has the word terrorist or terrorism in it. If that be the case, then yes, gestapo can be correctly used in reference to all 3 conflicts.
