Actually I know there was some that required permission from the parents and the parents were right there watching. But I'll take them singing about a historical figured over an attention whore anyday.

Techinically isn't Palin a historical figure also since she was VP candidate?

How? She wasn't the first, it's not like the original process of actually running for VP - it's basically just a pick by the pres. nom and that's that. She's a former half-term governor of bumfuck Alaska, that's all she is, she's not the least bit historical or close to the level of Obama.

Well I guess Che Guevara was a pretty good guy then also, others have said so. Pretty influential guy himself.

Palin will also be remembered in history also, to say otherwise would be ridiculous.

Nice one, equating him to Ghandi, real great comparison.

For what though? An historic icon? Not close, her attention whoring? Absolutely.

Some others would put Che, Hitler, and Osama in the same boat with Ghandi as being great people.

I guess we can put Obama in the history books as the guy who did nothing.

Some people would be complete morons too, he's accepted as one of the greatest civil rights leaders and hero to an entire country by 99% of everyone.

By him winning he would have went down as historic - but with repealing of DADT, getting Healthcare passed etc. just two years him...he's accomplished more already in 2 years than all but a handful of past presidents, ranked in the top 15 greatest POTUS's already.

DADT are you kidding me? This is his claim to fame?

Didn't know the 99% were morons that followed a racist.

Just because you're bigoted against them doesn't mean the rest of the nation is and doesn't see he accomplished what even Clinton failed to do. Just another historic piece of legislation he's accomplished in just two years, all while having been handed some of the worst periods in American history.

We're talking about the civil rights leader, not a teenage ghandi with wild views like I said - which was just in reference to his support of a caste system when he was young, which he changed. But yes, morons.
