And all that is done,
And all that will come,
And all that is won,
And all that is gone.
All you've Become,
The weak and the dumb,
All said and done,
We dropped the silent bomb.
Wrapped in the basement,
Oh ruler I need some answers,
I don't know how we fly the freedom bird in the pixels.
Oh ruler I make no difference I've got no power in your kingdom.
Your wisdom,
Your rule your kingdom,
Trapped inside her.
Show me some reason
I'll wake up, I'll need some answers.
Silent curtain show me some reason.
'Cause I'm easy,
For truth I'll kill the sniper
Inside her
Show me some reason
Show me anything (x2)

Nu gaze (sometimes called newgaze) refers to a form of alternative rock that originated in the 2000s that is directly influenced by the primarily British shoegaze scene of the late 1980s and early 1990s.[1] A renewed interest in shoegaze occurred in the early 2000s when bands such as Maps, My Vitriol, and Silversun Pickups first emerged across both sides of the Atlantic. The origin of the moniker "nu gaze" has been credited to an interview in 2001 with My Vitriol frontman Som Wardner[2] in which he denied his band was shoegaze, instead stating humorously,
"I guess you could call us nu gaze".
