>> I've watched professional cycling for years. Including many of Lance Armstrong's wins. I have seen no definitive evidence proving he doped. Where is yours? I'm not saying he did or didn't dope. I'm saying I don't know. I think it is presumptious of you to make that claim without some hard evidence. <<
The list is endless. Where to begin? I don't have time to go look up all the references, so I am going from memory. I am sure that there are some mistakes.
First of all he tested positive for corticoids (steroids) at the '99 or '00 (I forget) TdF. When challenged he produced a back-dated TUE (Therapeutic Usage Exemption -- basically a note from your "doctor" that says he needs the drugs for some valid medical reason).
Second of all a few years ago they tested preserved pee samples from the '99 TdF for EPO, since they didn't have a test then. All six of Lance's tested positive. Originally this was to be a completely anonymous study. And it was until after the fact when some journalists working for a French newspaper obtained the list linking the code numbers with the riders' names.
Third of all probably the current world expert in doping, Michael Ashenden, concluded after studying all of the factors involved, "There is no doubt that Lance Armstrong used EPO during the Tour."
Fourth there has been eyewitness testimony from former masseuse (Emma Poole?) that he doped. There was eyewitness testimony from Floyd Landis that he doped. The ongoing federal investigation has questioned at least two of Lance's former teammates that have corroborated Floyd's story.
Fifth, use your nose. It doesn't pass the smell test. Before cancer, Lance was a good one day racer. He won the world championships in the early '90s, probably drug-free, and no doubt aided by the fact that he was completely unknown in the peloton. But before cancer he raced in the Tour twice. (By then he was doping.) He never got higher than the mid-forties, as I recall. Then after he gets cancer, in one year he is transformed into the greatest stage racer the world has ever seen. If you go back through all the years that he won, every other single podium finisher and most of the top ten either tested positive or were caught up in a scandal such as Operacion Puerto. Does it really make sense that a drug-free Armstrong was so gifted that he could come back from cancer and not only be much stronger than before, but also completely dominate the entire peloton, including proven dopers?
Sixth one of the biggest doping doctors in cycling is Michele Ferrari. Lance was widely criticized for retaining his services. He claimed to sever all ties in 2003, yet the ongoing federal investigation shows that he maintained contact at least through 2010. Ferrari is on record as having said that he was afraid he gave Lance too much dope, leading to his cancer.
I could go on and on and on. But if you really want to read more, there is a forum just like this one about doping in cycling (linked below). Another good read is an extended and uncensored recent interview with Floyd Landis by former professional cyclist and author, Paul Kimmage:

One of my favorite signatures on the cycling forum reads:
"I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
Lance Armstrong
I'm sorry you don't believe in unicorns.
Some dude whacked out on acid at a Dead show I went to."
