SILVER-EYE POLL

Ladies,
I was wondering, out of all of you who have Pre-Mattel dolls, how many of you have had a dolly with silver-eye? I am always checking my precious Pre-Mattel Addy. I am so afraid she will get silver-eye.

I thought it might be a good idea if we took a poll to see how big of a problem this
is.

I just purchased a PM Addy with silver eye. Hopefully I can find some new PM eyes for her.

I have had 2 PM dolls with silver eye. I sent them both to the hospital and had their eyes replaced. No big deal.

Camilla, DD's dark haired Bitty, got silver eye, and she was an early Bitty.
Out of my PM girls none has, so far. And I sure hope it stays that way!!

Out of 6 PMs I have gotten, 4 had silver eye. 2 I knew about before I bought but the other 2 were a surprise. I just got eyes replaced, no big deal though.

Some I opted for eyes replaced, some heads/bodies.

When they replace the eyes, do the replace them with PM eyes with the soft brown eyelashes?

I have one PM who seems to have a very tiny touch of silver eye. It's not noticeable unless you look closely, but I hope it doesn't get any worse! [img]confused.gif[/img] [img]frown.gif[/img]

I've got 3 PM girls, and none have had silver eye. Of course they all have brown or green eyes, which seem to be less likely (thought not impossible for them) to get silver eye.
