Marisol?

Me and my daughter are saving up for Marisol, too. We think she looks like Jennifer Lopez. (I don't know if that's good or bad, but I mean it as a compliment! [img]confused.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img] )

We bought Marisol and her collection because my PS twisted my arm and my daughter wanted to get her. Of course the only reason my daughter wanted her was to resell her for a profit later [img]smile.gif[/img] So, she and all her stuff are still in the boxes. She is very pretty. Prettier in person than the pictures. She looks almost exactly like our Josefina which we noticed when we put the two up against each other. Marisol does have lighter hair, but otherwise her coloring is the same as our Josefina. The clothes are still yucky to me, but the cat and duffel bag are cute. We read the book and weren't too impressed by it, but it is still a nice story. We still don't like the trunk and its contents, but it is nice and sturdy and will hold all of her accessories so it is good for storage. We are still waiting on the tap dance outfit which is backordered. The ballet outfit is nice, but it does tend to snag easily if you aren't very careful.

I have Marisol and absolutely adore her... she's just gorgeous (fittingly so, as she is quite similar to Josefina, who I think is the prettiest of the AGs). Her hair is fabulous too, with tons of different shades and highlites.

Marisol was a must have for me, I gasped when I saw her because she looks exactly like my friend! And I mean EXACTLY! Even her face shape with the chin, skin, eye, hair colors, everything! It's almost scary! I should ask my friend if any Mattel people followed her and took her picture because they sure made a doll after her, LOL! She should ask them for Royalties, hehe!

So yes, Marisol is gorgeous just like my friend!

I really, really like her and was ready to order her when she came out. The only thing that stopped me was that she looked too much like Josefina and I didn't want to invest the $ in another doll that looked so much like another I had.

If you are wanting her though, I'd definately say get her!

GET HER!!!!!!!!! I AM IN LOVE WITH MARISOl!!! She is everything I expected and more =) She's just beautiful. Looks good in EVERYTHING!!!! She can play many roles. And her hair is so flexible- its so soft and shiny and you can do whatever you want with it and it will still have tons of curl!
