Question

Um,I was just looking at the order status of the items I ordered and it looks like the tea table and bed have already been shipped out each in seperate boxes and all the other items I ordered are still being packaged. Why do they send furniture or big items in seperate boxes and sooner than smaller stuff? Why can't they just send it all together?Anybody know?

Shipping costs would be prohibitive and frequently they are stored in the cartons pre-packed. It is actually cheaper this way

I don't know about big items, but I suspect that also occasionally smaller items are located in different warehouses.

My mother and I ordered several small items as replacement parts from retired sets, and also two yoga outfits and I ordered my bowling outfit. The tiny tiny items came in a tiny tiny box, separate from the outfits, which came together - all three - in the same box.

With big items, there's bound to be a limit on how big a box they can ship. So I'm sure that the costs of shipping are the key.
