I am thinking of ordering two Asian Bitty Babies and making them into Bitty Twins. I would need to wig them so that one was a boy and one a girl. What size wig do the Bitty Babies or Twins need? I don't have this size doll yet!

I am just moving this back to the first page so that maybe someone will know the size and I can order the wigs and the dolls with the code.

There is a wig sale at one of the suppliers and I would like to order them while they are on sale. I could also use the code to save on the dolls. I have been thinking of doing this for over a year. I kept hoping that AG would bring them out.

Kathy, it's super easy to figure out. I wigged a Bitty and think they look so much better with hair! All you have to do is take a tape measure and measure the circumference of the scalp *you* personally want to cover. You can see my Bitty with a wig here:
http://www.angelfire.com/mi/FAST/makeovers.html
That measurement, in inches, is the wig size. It's so easy to do!
My one recommendation is that if you want it to look real, you might want to get a wig marked "whispy" or "newborn." I got one for "infant," and it is much too full for a newborn like Bitty.
Good luck . . . let us know your results!

Hi Melissa,
The problem is I don't have the Bitty Babies yet. I wanted to order both the wigs and the dolls at one time. I have measured the 18 inch dolls for wigs. I have no idea what size the Bitty Baby's head is. Audrey's is having a sale on Global wigs, I would have to add to my order to reach the $25 minimum so I guess that I will add to my 60 some wigs for the bigger dolls. I don't glue them on.

Kathy, I'm sorry I didn't keep the number I used! I think I might have posted it here, but it was so long ago that it may no longer exist. I'll do a search to check.

Yep, I posted tha a long time ago:
I measured a regular Bitty Baby according to these directions: http://www.welovedolls.com/cgi-bin/m...egory_Code=MDW And it appears to be exactly 12 and 1/2 ".
Hope this helps
