I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sarah. I always collected Madame Alexander dolls, although if I had been a few years younger,I probably would have gotten into AG as a kid. I was lucky enough to have a daughter who loves dolls almost as much as me. I bought her Felicity and Elizabeth for Christas and we both got hooked. She now has Samantha and Nellie (birthday), Jess (birthday from yiayia) and Marisol (I won her on ebay and gave her to Becca after her recital and her yiayia made Marisol a matching costume). Hello to my fellow addicts.

You are right in calling us addicts. Most of us here have a real and sometimes uncontrollable desire for AG. We have people of all ages on the board and many of us got into it through our daughters just like you did. I peronally loved dolls as a child, but never considered owning one as an adult. I was happy for many years just giving and sharing the dolls with my daughter. One day, she returned the favor and bought me my very own doll. I have been seriously hooked ever since and coming to this board has furthered that connection. [img]smile.gif[/img]
