I've been learning about ear identification (can you say nerd!! [img]smile.gif[/img] ) and even the ears match up from what I can see!!! [img]smile.gif[/img]
And the hairline, and the eyes, and the mouth, and the chin, the nose ... too much coincidence I'd say [img]wink.gif[/img]

If this isn't you Anna - you should find out who modelled for that picture because they are your double - and it could prove interesting in life .... ie. when a person with your ears (heeheee) robs Walmart!! [img]smile.gif[/img] LOL

Wow...I think she looks Japanese, too. At least she looks to be part Japanese. I can't wait!

I do believe that I will get her for myself for Christmas!

Oh, I know I have to have her as I now have the other 3 Limiteds; but why... AG... why did you have to have her released now?? I thought Limited Edition dolls were every other year!

I have enjoyed reading all y'all's speculations on what Jess will look like. She is so cute ! I think she will be spunky and fun.

Wow shes pretty I think I'm going to have to have her. I cant wait she reminds me somoen I used be freidns with in elementery school.

If she's released on Dec. 21st...I just might be able to get her here by Christmas. Usually when I order a doll, I get it the next day. I know UPS will be really busy, but...who knows? [img]graemlins/thinking.gif[/img]

Maybe I'll order her, and if she comes in time, have DH wrap her up for me! LOL !!!!!

Anna, All I have to say is mystery solved for me over what she's going to look like. You guys could be identical twins... that is soo cool!

As for the asian eye/heritage debate... let me give you guys a twist. My sister has fair than fair skin with white blond hair (her hair was so white as a child she could have passed as an actor from children of the Da**ed) Our heritage, pure british isles as best we can tell... her eyes. Asian. Her eyes have changed slightly as she has grown older but let me tell you, there was something almost comical seeing this fair blond haired child smile and laugh. I have never seen anyone with her complexion and coloring to have asian eyes. What does this tell me about our heritage... that some where in the wood work of genealogy there is at least one asian on our family tree... So in short Jess can have asian type eyes while never being asian at all.


Some more fun things to think about:

A friend of mine knows a young man who has both Irish and Hawaiian roots (directly descendent). He has the tan complexion of an islander with red hair! So the red hair is perfectly possible!

Last but not least... I'll bet she does have Hawaiian roots not asian. South America was believed (especially islands around the area in the pacific)where settled by islanders from Hawaii and even asia itself.

All I have to say is I am looking very forward to this kind of doll. I was obsessed with paleontology and archeology as a child... and I am practically giddy at the idea of a dig

I really don't think she'll be released Dec. 21. AG almost always releases items on a Monday, or the immediate following Tuesday if Monday is a holiday (like 4th of July last year with Nellie) Dec. 21 is a Wednesday. Maybe you can see her in the store that day, or maybe club members can order her then? But the Dec. 26 release sounds most believeable to me. Marisol came out Dec. 27, that would fit in with her debut.
