How do you reply with a "quote" in a post? I see the icon at the top of the post that says reply with quote but it puts in the whole original message. I assumed that you highlighted and then hit the "reply with quote icon" but that didn't work either. Can someone tell me how to do this I feel stupid. [img]redface.gif[/img]

I always just delete what I don't want from the quoted entire post.

Hit the little quote marks button, and then edit out what you don't want to quote by deleting or highlighting and deleting.

When you deleted you had this left.

You need to have this left

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That should show up as a quote. The things in the brackets are tags and every tag that you open has to be closed. They aren't closed, because you accidentally deleted to much. Because they are closed when I rewrote it you can't see the things- so to demonstrate I have to add spaces.
So you need to make sure not to delete the ends of the tags. (Tags open by a bracket, a word and another bracket. They close by a bracket, backslash, a word and a bracket)

I added spaces so they would show up.

Edit: When I posted it it acted as if your quote tag was the start, so I had to put spaces into that too. Spaces are a way to demonstrate what the coding is.
