Allie - I see that you edited to regular English. Thank you very much. I think everyone appreciates being able to read your posts easier.

For anyone new, we do use a few common abbreviations:

DH - Dear Husband
DD - Dear Daughter
DS - Dear Son
LOL - Laughing Out Loud
IMO - In my opinion

These are the most common and accepted ones we use here, but we try to be kind to our non-English speaking members by not using too much slang and netspeak.

Thanks Again, Allie!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Hehe, I thought the "D" in DH, DD, and DS stood for "Darling", guess I was at least close!

We need one for Mom and Dad, because my DD (Darling Dad) made me 2 clothing racks recently for my AG clothes, (and I'm almost 27! --- will be this Saturday!) He is a really great Dad!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I always think "darling" instead of "dear" for some reason too. I kind of like darling better, I guess.

is there a DF or DM? those could be dear/darling father and dear/darling mother. I've seen it as dear or darling so I don't really think it matters too much.

It was an honest mistake. We don't have any rules for this (nor do we need any) so you shouldn't feel bad at all.
