As you all know I went to my first AGP this weekend. Chicago was great and the shopping was indeed amazing. We got several things for my DD, including #27 because "she looks just loke me Mommy" -- how can you deny that!!

I was able to get a personal shopper, who was amazing...her name is Denise and she was so helpful. The lines were enormous, but not for us, or course. I had box after box and she just kept taking them back to the counter. Well, I was shopping with a friend that I just happened to run into and we combined our 2 orders and Denise maxed out the shipping for us and let us ship the items together--THEN we had another friend of ours stuff sent to the friends house in that shipment---

SO we paid NO TAX since we were sending it out of state AND we each paid $10 for shipping (the max was $27.95) and we had over $1200 worth of merchandise sent---CRAZY huh!!

Anyway, she was GREAT, I had a wonderful time and my DH actually helped and I think thought it wasn't so bad. He went in two days and allowed me to purchase things that I thought he wouldn't AND he even helped me get lots of WISHBOOKS for you all!! Gotta love the good guys!

Wow! What a great story, Stacy! It sounds like you had a lot of fun!! Denise sounds great! We are traveling to Chicago this weekend, and have an appointment with Rita on Saturday morning. (Anybody know her?) I have already sent her a prelimanary list, and hubby was so sweet to sit with me last night and go over my wish list and help me make choices! I can't decide between finishing the rest of Josefina's collection, or getting #24 & #28 and a bunch of outfits for both today's and historicals. I think I'm leaning towards the two dolls and outfits! I hope our day is as good as yours!!
