...satisfy them by getting a job while still doing what you like!
Yeah... the family still thinks the doll collecting is weird, and I can't have my dolls here.
But...
I still need to get a job out here.
So...
I'm applying to work as a sales associate or cashier at AGPLA.
Wish me luck!!!
(At least if they hire me, they'll be sure to get someone who knows practically everything there is to know about all their products!!! And I'll get to spend time around all the dolls without the family calling me weird! )

Now that would be a dream job! And don't they get a rather generous employee discount?

Great idea. Hope you get a job there. If you do get a employee discount save up and reward yourself handsomely at the end of your long hard summer.

Ohh!! Good luck! That would be awesome! I wonder if you can still be a member here, I've never known of an AG employee to also be a member of hostboard. I wonder if it's agaist the rules because they don't want leaks and stuff. Does anybody know?

Well I know they don't hire temporarily. They want you to have anytime availability, and an open-ended commitment as far as the length of time you would work there.
AFAIK, they don't say where you can post or if you can visit AG sites. You ARE responsible for any or all information that may get out though. If they suspect you leaked, you can be fired without proof.
They ARE currently hiring cashiers, sales and cafe staff.

Well... I could definately deal with living out here for an extended time with a cool gig like that. And that in-state tuition is sure attractive, too. I'd just have to work on getting my own place as soon as possible so my dolls can be liberated from their storage-space prison!
