I am very glad I got Jess. She is unique of the AG dolls and very pretty. My dd just ordered one also because of her beauty.
If you do a search here on hostboard than you will see a lot of great reviews and pictures. The only things I've heard negative of Jess are the eyes are different sizes and the wig sometimes has a bump in it. The eyes are common for Jess and contributes to her uniqueness.

She will probably be gone soon, so if someone has to order her...maybe you should make up your mind. I have her and she is pretty and unique. I'm not nuts about her selection of clothes, but you can always put JLY outfits on her. Her pjs are to die for. I ordered an extra pair just to have them. The monkey is adorable too.

Hi!

I got Jess in April and after a huge internal debate and some very awesome advice & support from everyone here at HB, I sent her back to AG about a month ago to get Nellie.

I did not bond with Jess and I also did not care for her hair--my Jess had very thin hair and I prefer the dolls with thicker hair because I enjoy styling it etc. I would definitely suggest getting Jess sooner rather than later, if you think you want her, because if you don't like her you can always send her back to AG and get a different doll--even if she has been removed from the box and gently played with. CS was super nice to me about the entire exchange process.

I love Jess's pj's, kayaking outfit and kayak itself and so does my DD. The kayak gets played with everyday and is really cute! The pj's are also adorable and look great on our other dolls too.

If you want her, it's best to ask for her NOW, and let your "potential Jess-giver" know that NOW is the best time to order her, as she is likely to sell out before mid-December or so. I have Jess and love her to pieces. Her whole collection is great too! I have such fun with her. I had never been much into accessories and getting a whole collection; but I did with her and have not regretted it! GET HER! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

I was like you - not sure if I wanted Jess. My DH was looking at the catalog recently and said he thought I would like Jess. I thought more about it and realized I agreed! So my mom actually got her for me last month, as an early Christmas gift. I'm so glad I chose Jess - I bonded with her immediately and I just think she's beautiful.
