I just sent her a nasty as well. I can't believe what she's doing! And then trying to act as though she's just doing people a favor!

I sent her a message, as well. That annoyed me so much. I really hope no one falls for this scam.

Wow, I just saw her response. Talk about self-righteous!

And what exactly will she be selling when the free shipping code expires (2 days before the end of her "auction")?!!

I was hoping that the first half of the seller's response meant that they might just be a well-meaning person who wanted to find a way to let people know that there is an option to paying the inflated prices on ebay when some of the products are still available. (when even one's own uncle can sell your house out from under you without even intending to allow you to get your belongings or make the place presentable so his dead sister wouldn't be mortified at the state in which it was sold, I somehow still want to believe that people are inherently good)

Forget trying to give this person the benefit of the doubt, though. Check out their other auctions. There are two others along the same lines. Interesting scheme: I wonder if this person makes a decent business out of writing cryptic messages that con people into paying for "inside" information that they should be perfectly capable of finding out for themselves.

And Daisy, ignore the seller's response to that question. If attacking your personal character and that of other sellers is all they could do to defend themself, the seller obviously knows that they are in the wrong, at least in their heart. And they're totally wracking up major bad karma through such actions.
