Anyone checking out that Earthsea mini-series?

Sci-Fi Channel's been pushing the ads for awhile. I'm sorta picky about fantasy flicks, and so far nothing about this one has really jumped out at me.

I like shows/movies along those lines. If miss it on TV, hopefully they will release it on DVD in the future

I may try to record the later running of it and see if it is decent (which I am hoping)

Every times I see the ads I think of how they butchered PJF's "Riverworld"..............

(out of all his books-why the longest & most complex??????)

I hear ya. The production value looks good so I'm sure it'll have some good visuals at least. The ads didn't say much of the story...seems like the usual fair...youthful up and coming hero thing.

They've been having an Ape movie fest since 8 am central...Escape and Battle, but for some reason they skipped Conquest.
