AFR customs: *gasp* dbl-knee jointed mattel-hush bats!

hi all, just joined the unreal board, after my buddy finally nudged me enough to do it. you guys really have a nice board here, lots of cool and laid-back folks here, it seems.

anywho, i finished up my second 6" scale custom (well, i just got inspired by some dude on ringofcollectors to do just a couple of more mods to the fig...ehehehe, so i'll still be working on him, but for the most part, he's done, yay!). he's a mattel, deluxe attack armor bats fig w/ the following mods:

1) repainted hush bats head swap
2) ball-jointed neck
3) vinyl cape (still wanna mod it further, make another longer one w/ the "tippets" at the end)
4) 2 additional sets of repainted gloved hands w/ different grips
5) a mix of other cool accessories i took from other figs to give bats more of an arsenal
6) interchangeable bruce wayne head
7) a "removed cowl" for when he's in bruce wayne unmasked bats mode

...and the pride-and-joy mod...
8) double knee joint articulation worked right into the original calf sculpt to give it that seamless, marvel-legends look w/o any sculpting work at all!

yah, 8) was my proudest achievement on this custom. i'm an articulation freak, though, so to me, that was really important for me to give bats those double knee joints. props to DST and pairadocs, among a few others, who inspired me to make those knee joints a reality.

Nice job on that one. I hate Batman for the most part, and this one almost makes me want to change that stance. Almost [img]wink.gif[/img]

Enjoy your time with us, and we are most laid back (especially now due ot not much going on out in the action figure world and it being summer I think. Died down around this time last year as well)

Man, that Bats sucks, it has to be the uglyest custom I have ever seen.
