...it looks like, for some if not most of us, it might be time to say a little goodbye to our collecting habits for a while... I don't personally think I can afford to get much at all this month.. I won't be going to the movies like I wanted more then likely, and the only thing I have purchased (before the gas spike) was the 20" Legolas.... And that... is more then likely going to be it for the rest of the month.. I don't even know if I'll be able to afford a cheapo dvd.
Edit: Hell, I'm really really starting to think about joining the local SCA here to have something to do that's enjoyable (For those that are unaware, the SCA is like a group of Medieval "reenactors" so to speak) and doesn't cost a damn thing.. Find and make friends with a blacksmith.. Get them to make your swords and stuff.. Know how to use a needle and thread? Go get some cheap fabric from the dollar store and make your clothing. Something enjoyable.. (And would also fall in line eventually with the marriage plan if I pop the question.. We've already agreed if and when we do get married it will be a Medieval wedding)

have you seen gandolf yet?? he's awesome.
well like i said in another thread.... we have a trip planned for down south about 7 hours away in a few weeks but it's a family owned ranch so all we will have to do is pay for gas... but that alone is going to be bad. his car doesn't get much better mileage than my suv.
and i am at the point of having to start buying things for the wedding in january. i think you can safely say money will be tight for quite a few of us.
i think i need to make some phone calls
