    Actually, if I'm not mistaken the HHR was designed to be a smaller modernized version of the 1950's era Suburan, and I can see the similarities

    Both the PT Cruiser and the HHR (which is a dumb awkward name btw) were designed by the same guy, Bryan Nesbitt. According my source, Nesbitt learned from his mistakes on the PT Cruiser. I find the HHR has a bit more cargo room than the Cruiser.

    In my case, I was looking for something as a crossover between my old van and a car. The HHR fits the bill quite nicely.

    UPDATE: The God Damned passenger side power sliding door that was supposedly fixed a week ago is broken AGAIN!!!

    I called the General Manager of the dealership and left him a scathing voicemail, fucker better call back, and soon!

    I must admit that I've never had any problems with the Venture's auto sliding door. It had gotten stuck a few times but opening and closing it reset it.

    Ironically, we thought that that would be the first feature to konk out on us.
