There is a longstanding discussion about the differences between the Scots and the Irish. But in truth, they are both very much the same.

They both like their beer.
They both appreciate a good round of golf.
They both a fiercely loyal to their homelands.
They honor and respect their heritage and their folklore.

However, one significant difference was revealed to me as I was tippin' back a pint with my uncle Fergus MacDonald, a proud Irishman. It so happened that a fly dropped into Uncle Fergus' beer. And ever so gently, and ever so carefully he picked up the wee creature by its tiny little wings and said.....
