Morning Coffee, Things I Don't Understand edition

I'll start with a cup of coffee, and the latest commercial from Comcast. [rant] It is supposed to sell their Internet service by talking about the protection they provide. It shows some crooks cutting holes through the floor to get into a house. Then a chimp starts swinging a hammer at them haphazardly.

"Like a monkey with a sledgehammer, we protect your system."

1) It's not a monkey, monkeys have tails. It's a chimp.

2) A firewall should be analogous with a REAL wall, that's where it got it's name.

3) "A monkey with a sledgehammer"? THAT is their idea of precision protection? WTF?

I hate comercials today, they make us look like were a bunch of fools.


Don't know if you have arby's where you live, but they had a comercial out just recently that drove me nuts!! any 5 items on their list for 5 bucks.

There's a house that shows up quite a bit that I'd like to find out more about (it's got a dark, wood ceiling)
And a cell phone (I think) commercial with a 'mom' that I'd like to see nekkid.........
