I don't think 40$ will make your wife kill you...
Here, let's try!

Seriously, cool little find!
...But the peer pressure got to me...
Coupla guys at work went in together and ordered three of these sweet mini rc helis. I did my best to resist, but they're too cool. Found 'em at Radio Shack for the same price sans the shipping. By the end of lunch it looked like an airport in here.

It's too late for me, Andy...save yourself... Go on! Get out of here while you still can!
Quick! What are the first three famous helicopters you can think of off of the top of your head?
I got this one at Rat Shack....it's a little more expensive....but cool as hell. (I almost looks like something Andy made!)
Micro Mosquito

Been wondering how those little RC's handle - I would imagine not very well outside. What are the chances of seeing some video?

Shiner, I'm trying to get a vid put together with the "fleet" we now have at the office for a contest. I'll make no promises - these guys aren't terribly creative... So far, we've mastered hovering...almost... And it's difficult because we didn't think to check the frequencies and there are three here that work on the same signal (although, I had a good bit of fun being the first one to figure that out ). Also, non-heli owners have taken to targeting our crafts with SA missiles (rubber-bands), which adds considerable challenge to indoor flight. Haven't tried it outside yet...
So any advantages of the mosquito vs the cheaper one? Range, charge time, ect?
The cheaper one looks cooler to me, compared to the mosquito. (Probably becaus it looks more like a helicopter.)
We got sme mini rc tanks at walmart a few years ago, but the treads on them all rotted within 4 months.
I've always wanted a rc helicopter, and this one might just be fun.
